What I wrote on My Match Profile to Lure a Dude

Wow, there are a lot of attractive women on this site! They all like to travel, they all like music and most are sick of the bar scene. Just like me... Well, sometimes I do like a bar scene. What woman in her right mind, past the age of 35 would want to pass up the opportunity to look stunning through the hazy filter of low lights, booze and the occasional fog machine?

I do love to travel but I like a simple plan too... Or will pretend to without being a martyr. I also like music, in fact I really love music and am somewhat knowledgeable about it. I am presently going through an Aesop Rock phase but the last live show that I loved was Nashville Pussy. I also like comedy - from Bill Hicks to Mitch Hedberg.

I'm full of hijinx - in a "I'll still show up on time kind of way."

I love feisty conversations, a man who speaks his mind with only teeny-tiny edits and springtime in Pomona after a slight morning dew.

I'm not a drama-queen and do have great friends with whom I rarely fight... Except the time last spring, when I refused to hold my best friends coat at a rave at 5:00 in the morning in Barcelona, so she could dance with a 24 year old - two hours before my flight.

I'm not a big fan of mindless exercise, but have been known to attend yoga classes on a regular basis and just a few months ago walked up the Casbah in the desert of Morroco without losing a breath. (only a slight lie)

I'm committed to my career in the arts. (Don't worry I don't want to act.) I am very social and I balance my schedule between kids, work, and going back to school.

I love going to concerts, hanging out with my kids (specially when they're behaving) and having a great laugh.

Last but not least - I wanna be different just like everybody else...
